Hi everyone,
After days of intense iteration, Flect v1.2.0 is officially here! This update marks a major leap in how you organize and retrieve information. Check out what’s new below:
1. Reimagined New Tab
We’ve refined the New Tab interface for better information density. You can now simply drag and drop highlights into folders and tags using the new drag handle. This layout isn't just about aesthetics—it’s built to streamline your knowledge management.
2. Meet the New Sidebar
We’ve upgraded the original Popup into a persistent Sidebar. Whether you’re jumping between tabs or deep-diving into a single page, Flect stays right by your side, ready when you are.
3.Image Highlight
Not just text – we've also added support for image highlighting.
4. Folders & Tags System
Building on our note-taking feature, we’ve officially launched Folders and Tags. It’s the simplest, most effective way to categorize and manage everything you’ve captured.
5. Advanced Search Evolution
Search just got smarter. In addition to multi-keyword matching, you can now use quotation marks "" for exact phrase matching—finding that specific quote has never been faster.
6. "Cia Mode" (Redaction Mode)
For those who need to focus or hide sensitive info: Highlights are now blacked out by default and only reveal their content when clicked.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved font formatting issues that occurred on specific websites.
